Rudy de Gruijl has a philosophical outlook on life and often provides his paintings with somewhat absurd but thoughtful titles. Rudy paints and draws because he enjoys it but also ‘to get a little bit rich’. He likes to earn money with his art to buy new materials and to ‘wander’ around town.
