Hassan has been very interested in art since he was a child. He particularly enjoys looking at classical art from the seventeenth century, such as still lifes and seascapes. As a child, he started drawing things with a pencil. He sometimes creates the image in his head before putting it on paper or canvas. He has never had any lessons and taught himself to paint and draw. His technical knowledge is vast, and he is renowned for his floral still lifes and Amsterdam cityscapes. He knows better than anyone how to create a warm and safe atmosphere in his work. This radiates and sparkles through his choice of colour and composition. A true contemporary master. In addition to his days at Cordaan Outsider Art Atelier, Hassan also works at Framer Framed atelier.
