Sylvester Mentink has been working at Outsider Art Atelier since January 2024. He has been making drawings for himself since the early 1990s. Drawings that only his family could admire. Since working at the studio, he regularly dares to get out of his comfort zone. Almost always he works with marker and mostly non-figurative. In 1 day, he usually completes 1 work. Besides his powerful, black-and-white, abstract drawings with clean lines, he sometimes plays with recognisable subjects such as cats, musical instruments or cars.
